Exploring the Foothills: Preschool @ SIS-PIK
The early years at SIS-PIK mark the beginning of each child’s educational journey—a foundational stage we call the “foothills” on the path to the SIS Peak. Our Preschool programme is designed to foster a love for learning through exploration, play, and hands-on discovery.
Blending the Best Educational Traditions
Our Preschool curriculum draws on the strengths of the renowned Singapore Early Years Framework and integrates global best practices in early childhood education. The result is a well-rounded programme that supports academic readiness while nurturing each child’s personal development.
Our approach is both structured and flexible—combining early skill-building in numeracy, language, and motor development with opportunities for imaginative play, outdoor learning, and social collaboration.
We believe that high-quality early education builds the mindset and habits that set the tone for future success—both in school and in life.
Learning Through Play, Growing with Purpose
Play is at the heart of how young children learn. At SIS-PIK, we create a purposeful learning environment where structured play leads to meaningful development.
Whether they’re role-playing in a dramatic corner, experimenting with colours in art, building with blocks, or listening to stories, children are developing key skills in communication, problem-solving, and self-expression.
Our dedicated teachers guide learning with intention—observing, encouraging, and extending each child’s thinking in ways that spark curiosity and creativity.
Nurturing Independence
from the Start
We recognise that even our youngest students are capable individuals. Our Preschool environment encourages independence, decision-making, and responsibility from the very beginning.
Children learn how to express their needs, manage routines, and make simple choices that build confidence and autonomy. With gentle guidance from caring educators, students begin developing the emotional resilience and social skills that support lifelong success.
We aim to nurture not just school readiness, but life readiness—where every child feels empowered to take initiative and embrace new experiences.
Where Every Child’s Journey Begins
Preschool at SIS-PIK is a joyful, nurturing space where learning comes alive. We see each child as a unique individual, and our teachers work closely with families to ensure that every learner receives the support and encouragement they need.
Through engaging lessons, warm relationships, and thoughtfully designed spaces, we create a setting where children feel safe, valued, and excited to come to school.
This is where the SIS-PIK journey begins—with wonder, with laughter, and with the quiet confidence that your child is exactly where they’re meant to be.
